Don was born in Richmond

Don was born in Richmond, Virginia on December 16, 1965. He received his B.B.A. from Baylor University in 1988, double majoring in finance and economics. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate in 1991 form Southern Methodist University. Don was admitted to the Texas bar in 1992. Don is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern District of Texas and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Don is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Although Don's primary areas of practice include commercial litigation and labor and employment law litigation, Don has significant experience in representing creditors in commercial collection matters as well as defending claims pursuant to the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act.
