Mark Bankston was born on May 29, 1970, in Waxahachie, Texas. A
fourth-generation Texan, Mark graduated from Lamar University in 1993 with a
B.A. in English. Mark earned his juris doctorate from South Texas College of Law
and was admitted to the Bar in 1997. At South Texas, he was a member of
Law Review, and recipient of the Phi Delta Phi Award for Highest Grade in
Products Liability and the Fred A. Lange Memorial Writing Award for his
published casenote. He is admitted in all Texas state courts, the United
States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
and, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Western, and
Eastern Districts of Texas. Mark's practice primarily focuses on
commercial litigation. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association, and
Downtown Houston Association-Emerging Leaders.
