Omar was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 13, 1974. He received his B.A. in English from Louisiana State University in 1996 and his juris doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in 1999. Omar was admitted to the State Bar of Louisiana in 1999, U.S. District Court, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana in 2000, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit in 2000 and the State Bar of Texas in 2006. While at LSU, Omar was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and while at Loyola University School of Law he was a member of the American Inns of Court - St. Thomas More Inn. He was also a recipient of the Richard Cooper Legal Scholarship. He is currently a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, complex litigation, premises liability, personal injury defense, and plaintiff personal injury.
