Anthony G. Stergio was born in Uncasville, Connecticut on December 15, 1965. He received his B.A. from University of Connecticut in 1987 and his juris doctorate degree from the University of Kansas in 1990. Anthony was admitted to the Texas bar in 1990 and is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts Texas. Anthony is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. Although Anthony's primary area of practice is in employment and commercial litigation, he also has litigation experience in the following areas: personal injury claims, insurance coverage disputes, and securities arbitration. Anthony has also handled appeals to Texas state courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Ninth Circuit. Anthony's experience also includes employment policy design and review, the design of drug testing policies and employment applications which comply with federal and state laws. Anthony also counsels clients regarding developments in a number of areas of state and federal employment laws. Anthony frequently speaks at employment related seminars and has published articles relating to labor and employment law issues.
