Education

Jeffrey B. Lawson was born September 26, 1977, and grew up in Beaumont, Texas. Jeff graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Accounting and worked in the accounting field for several years before receiving his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Jeff served as an assistant editor of the South Texas Law Review, earned Dean's List academic honors, received the Phi Delta Phi award in Admiralty, and authored an award winning brief in the 2005 Houston Bar Association - Bankruptcy Section writing competition. He also served as a summer intern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Earl S. Hines.

Jeff was admitted to the Texas bar in 2007. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and oil and gas litigation.

Jeff is currently a member of Houston Producers' Forum; the Houston Bar Association - Oil, Gas, & Mineral Law section; Houston Young Lawyers Association; and the American Bar Association.
